How it works

Do you have any extra points? Sell them to other shareholders and members.

This is how it works:

  • Log in to the booking portal 

  • Create a bank account, or select an existing account to be used for withdrawals

  • Open the menu in the top right corner of your profile

  • Click on the arrow next to the menu item "Points Platform".

  • Click on "Sell points".

  • Create a new offer

  • In the next field, select which points you wish to sell, enter the number of points to sell, enter a price per point and define when your offer should expire (maximum 30 days before points expire).

  • Confirm and your points are in sale

You don’t have enough points for your desired holiday? Buy the missing points directly during your booking.

This is how it works:

  • Book your desired apartment in the booking portal as usual. 

  • Two offers are displayed during the booking process. The offers will be displayed if you have not enough points for the booking on your account and your purchase rate is not yet exhausted.

  • The first offer is the absolutely most affordable offer currently available on the points platform. The points offered are valid at least until the last day of your trip.

  • The second offer is the cheapest point offer in the period of your booking with a minimum points validity of 12 months.

Do you need more points for more holidays? Buy points on stock. You will automatically be shown the cheapest offer.

This is how it works:

  • Log in to the booking portal

  • Open the menu in the top right corner of your profile

  • Click on the arrow next to the menu item "Points Platform".

  • Click on "Buy points".

  • Select how long the points shall be valid (more or less than 24 months)

  • Enter the number of points you wish to buy and with a few clicks the points will be yours.

Answers to the most important questions

Why was the points kiosk replaced by the new points platform?

  • Buyers and sellers can buy and sell points more easily with the new points platform. The needs of buyer and seller can thus be met faster and more efficiently. 

  • The new points platform is up-to-date and allows an easy transaction. Direct contact between buyer and seller is no longer necessary.

  • The new point platform serves to promote the use of points for a concrete booking and thus for the personal need.

  • As a buyer, you can buy the points immediately during the booking process.

Can a private transfer of points still be made?

Yes. You can still transfer points to your friends and family. Points can be transferred online via the booking portal "MyHapimag" or directly via your Service Point.

How will the points price change and develop on the Points Platform?

Hapimag has no influence on the points price. The points price is determined by supply and demand. It is therefore not possible to give a general estimation of how the points price will develop.

Does Hapimag make any money from the Points Platform?

No, because Hapimag itself is not party to the contract. Hapimag provides the brokering, the points transfer and the payment collection (“services”) to users free of charge. Hapimag AG forwards the purchase price received from the purchaser to the seller’s bank account once the points are debited.

Why can I no longer search for offers?

The new points platform ensures that you can benefit directly from the cheapest offers. The number of points searched for can be entered flexibly. This means that you as a user are no longer dependent on specific offers. Due to the automated platform, the manual search for offers becomes obsolete.

Why do I receive only one offer when I buy additional points on stock?

  • Purchased points are to be used in the near future. It is to be prevented that shareholders and members buy additional points, which expire shortly and thus cannot be used. Instead, the sale of points with a shorter validity should be promoted, especially in the booking process.

  • In order not to promote active trading, points purchased and transferred once are only intended for personal use.

Why can’t the same points be sold more than once?

So as not to promote active trading, once points have been purchased and transferred, they are specified for your personal use only. Points that have been sold are therefore marked so that they can only be sold once.

Why does it take 60 days for the money to be transferred to me as a seller?

  • The points buyer have the right to pay their via the points platform bought points within 30 days. 

  • As Hapimag does not assume any collection risk, it cannot make advance payment to a seller (i.e. payment of the amount due to the seller without receipt of payment from the buyer).

  • For this reason, Hapimag generally pays the points sales value to the points seller, no later than 60 days after the points have been debited.
