Flexible with regard to booking changes and cancellations

The temporary exception rule for booking changes and cancellations is being extended until the end of October 2021 due to the ongoing travel restrictions: You will be able to change or cancel any booking free of charge up to eight days before arrival (no loss of point nor handling charge apply) – the last date of arrival is 31 October 2021.
At the same time, we will carefully evaluate and amend the cancellation conditions for the future. This is on the condition that travel restrictions in Europe are relaxed and some degree of certainty is restored when it comes to making holiday plans. As soon as a decision has been taken, we will let you know.
Expiry points extended

Due to the special situation, Hapimag is extending the deadline for expiry points. This means the residence points that would have expired at the end of April 2021 will now not expire until the end of October 2021 – the last date of arrival is 31 October 2021. For technical reasons, the extension of points will take place in the course of the first quarter of 2021. We will inform you as soon as the extension has taken place.
What many shareholders and members don’t yet know: To ensure that as few points as possible expire, Hapimag generally grants a tolerance period of up to 16 months in addition to the general term of five years. This deadline has been extended as an exception by a further six months as a result of the pandemic.
We will provide you with as many holiday apartments as possible – even throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and all the circumstances that come with it.

Ban on accommodation in Germany and Austria
The governments imposed a nationwide, temporary ban on accommodation - this due to the current Covid-19 situation. The Hapimag resorts in these countries will remain closed during the periods mentioned below. Hapimag will contact all travellers personally and offer them free cancellation or booking change.-

What does Hapimag do for hygiene and cleanliness?

Basic cleaning and disinfection of the holiday apartments before and after use

Maintaining safety distances (at least 2 meters) and restriction of persons in all public areas and outlets (e.g. reception, shops, restaurants or sports and wellness areas)

Self-service disinfection stations at relevant locations in public areas (including reception, shops, restaurants, sports and wellness areas, Mini & Maxi Club)

Regular cleaning and disinfection of publicly accessible facilities and surfaces such as stair railings, lift, etc.

Would you like to change or cancel an existing booking?
All bookings can be rebooked or cancelled free of charge up to 8 days before arrival (without loss of points and without processing fee) – the last applicable arrival date is 31 October 2021.
Is the new Booking Information already available?
With the publication of the new Booking Information, the period from November 2020 to October 2021 is now available for bookings.To the new Booking Information
Remark
Hapimag reserves the right to keep resorts closed due to official orders or for business reasons and therefore to cancel any made bookings. In such a case, the claim of the shareholder or member is limited to the crediting of the points charged. Further claims for damages against Hapimag are excluded. - Residence points
Do you have a booking for a closed resort?
Even in this case you do not have to worry about your points. We will cancel all bookings made for closed resorts and refund your points. This refund is done automatically.Important: We do not yet cancel any stays that are not due to take place until summer or autumn, for example. Currently, we only cancel bookings whose arrival is scheduled in about 14 days. Any cancellation would be confirmed separately. If the situation allows it, we can also open individual resorts earlier than communicated today. Then your booking would remain valid. Should you wish to change your booking, our employees will be happy to assist you via our Service Line 00800 3030 8080 (alternatively +41 58 733 70 10).
Do you have points that expire at the end of April 2021?
We are happy to support you in this case as well. Hapimag would like as few points as possible to expire unnecessarily. We are therefore extending all points with an expiry date of 30 April 2021 until 31 October 2021. This extension is an extremely unusual measure. But the current situation requires us to support our shareholders and members in an unbureaucratic and direct manner. - Staying at the resort
Are there any restrictions on the services offered in the resorts?
You will find the relevant information on the respective resort page. In principle, the following applies: even if partially to a reduced extent, the services and infrastructure of reopened resorts are generally available to our guests. This is subject to and takes into account the respective government requirements as well as the standard security measures of Hapimag. These include our offers for families (child and youth care), our wellness treatments and our sports and activities programme. These are also constantly being adapted to the legal framework with regard to COVID-19.
