Hapimag covers various aspects of ecological, economical and social sustainability. For example: good social contributions and a company crèche; independently built sewage treatment works and outstanding waste management; Swiss Code of Best Practice and ethical business. The list goes on.

Ecological sustainability

In the area of waste management, Hapimag is a leader in almost every country and has been separating, sorting and disposing of waste correctly for many years. In addition, the company builds sewage treatment plants where appropriate (Punkaharju, Pentolina, Bodrum). This saves energy and reduces air pollution.

Economical sustainability

The Swiss Code of Best Practice defines open, transparent business management and control. Although Hapimag is not quoted on the stock exchange, the Code is regarded as a guideline and indicator. The company boasts greater transparency in accounting as defined by International Financing Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Social sustainability

At Hapimag, the minimum wage is always higher than the statutory minimum wage. Social contributions are considerably lower for the employee: Fewer costs and better services. If employees have children, they can leave them at the company crèche at the Hapimag headquarters in Baar.
