Westerland Dünenblick – Spectacular nature and culinary delights
We can take a walk to the Morsum cliff. A wooden walkway takes us through the heath landscape to the edge of the cliff. We take the time to admire the cliffside - it is 21 m high with a variety of earth strata that are up to 10 million years old. The strata feature a range of colours and are clearly layered next to each other rather than on top of each other. In the evening, we take the opportunity to indulge in culinary delights. The centre of Westerland with its strong Friesian heritage is just a short walk away. We can saunter along the promenade. Here we find beach bistros, traditional restaurants and numerous gourmet restaurants that feature in the Michelin Guide or Gault Millau.
