Vienna – Cultural diversity

We book a guided tour of the city at reception. Our first stop is St Stephen's Cathedral - a masterpiece of Gothic architecture worthy of amazement. From the tower we experience a unique panoramic view. We are captivated by the Crown Jewels and diamonds at the Hofburg and encounter fairytale romance at the Sissi Museum. In the museum quarter we can visit exhibitions and enjoy the modern art with works from the Vienna Secession, more recent works and Austrian Expressionist works, as well as delighting in the interaction of baroque and modern architecture. Just a short walk away from the museum quarter is Mariahilfer Strasse. Here we can satisfy our desire to shop in the longest shopping street in Austria.
