Getting there
From Lyon (A6):
Leave the motorway at exit 21 "Nitry". Turn right onto the D944 in the direction of Tonnerre. In Nitry turn left onto the D49 towards Sacy/Vermenton. At Sacy turn right onto the D11 in the direction of Vermenton. Continue on the D11 until the N6. At the N6 turn right in the direction of Vermenton. After entering the town turn left immediately behind the Hotel de Commerce in the direction of the port. Follow the signs for "Port de Plaisance“ until you have reached your destination.
From Luxembourg (via Metz):
Continue on the A4 in the direction of Paris/Reims and further along the A26 in the direction of Troyes. At Troyes take the A5 in the direction of Sens, take the first exit no. 21 in the direction of Tonnerre. Take the Rocade Ouest (D610) in the direction of Auxerre, after approx. 8 km turn left onto the Route d'Auxerre (N77). Follow this road until just before Auxerre. Turn left onto the N6 in the direction of Avallon. On the N6 continue on through Augy, Champs sur Yonne and Cravant until Vermenton. After entering the town take a right towards the port directly behind the Hotel de Commerce. Follow the signs for "Port de Plaisance“ until you have reached your destination.
From Paris:
Take the A6 motorway. Exit the motorway at the Joigny exit and take the D943 towards Joigny. In Joigny continue towards Vermenton.

Special information
- All additional services (e.g. bicycles, closed car park, etc.) and flat-rate charges for engine usage must be paid directly to the base in cash or using a credit card (Mastercard or Visa). Unfortunately Hapimag vouchers are not accepted.
- To ensure your comfort you should not take more than four bicycles with you on your houseboat (due to lack of space).
- Pets (which must be at least 3 months old) must have been vaccinated against rabies at least 4 weeks but no more than 1 year beforehand in order to enter France.
- A fishing permit is required for fishing. This can be purchased locally.
In the future motorists and motorcyclists in France will have to carry an alcohol testing device. The regulation comes into force on 1 July 2012 and also applies to tourists. Following a four-month familiarisation phase a penalty of EUR 11.– shall apply in the event of non-compliance. Appropriate disposable testing devices are available for approximately EUR 1.50 in pharmacies, discos and filling stations.
Miscellaneous
- There is no safe on board. Do not leave cash or valuables unattended on your houseboat.
- Parking at the port is at your own risk. We therefore advise you to rent a secure car parking place on site for the duration of your stay.
