At our address in Tonda in romantic Tuscany, a historic village awaits you with the comfort and service of a modern resort. In surroundings of gently rolling hills and vineyards, here you will find everything that characterises the Tuscan way of life.

The historic village is far away from the tourist hustle and bustle and located amidst natural surroundings. Here you will find space to pursue many interests during your holiday in Tuscany: go on a culinary journey of discovery, do artistic activities or obtain new perspectives on long walks and hikes.

Located in the triangle of Florence, Pisa and Siena, Tonda is the ideal starting point to discover the cultural treasures of these three world-renowned cities or stroll through the chic boutiques. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Piazza del Campo in Siena and the factory outlets with Gucci and Prada in Florence are only roughly a one-hour drive away. In the evening there is a host of cultural activities on offer depending on your mood: open-air concerts or a visit to the Empoli Theatre will make culture fans' hearts beat faster. And for those who want to take a break for a while after so many excursions we recommend the Casaccia in the Hapimag resort. Here the guest can expect a large selection of exquisite Tuscan wines which wonderfully complement typical Tuscan meals.

Regional materials

Special value was placed on the use of regional materials in furnishing the resort in 2009, which was designed by a Swiss star architect. Olive-tree wood, terracotta and natural stone blend harmoniously into the local landscape. The houses are built around a church, the Casaccia and village square giving the resort a village character.

Gastronomy

The social focus of the resort is the Casaccia, where the reception, bar and shop are now located. An adjacent restaurant is the ideal place for a few pleasant hours over a delicious snack and a glass of red wine. The emphasis is on regional cuisine. Since the renovation, the guest lounge and wine bar have be incorporated into the Casaccia. There is also an open-air wood-burning pizza oven.

And there is no need to go without fresh breakfast rolls, which can be ordered daily.

Mobility

Tonda is not connected to the public transport network, so a car is highly recommended. Bicycles and mountain bikes can be hired (1 km).
