Tonda – Culinary Highlights

On the way back through the charming hills, we can stop off at a country market to buy freshly pressed olive oil and coarse-grain salami directly from the farmer. Once we are back at our address, we play a game of boccia (bowls) in the shadow of the trees with our friends followed by a refreshing dip in the open air swimming pool. We get the evening off to a great start in the Casaccia with a glass of Tuscan wine and delicious snacks. Then we move on to a rustic trattoria nearby to enjoy local delicacies like Florentine steak with sun-ripened Nobile di Montepulciano wine. A Coretto Grappa digestif is the perfect way to round off the evening.
