Sonnleitn – Fun sport in the summer

Hapimag Sonnleitn and NTC (New Technology Center) promise you a summer holiday full of thrills! Instead of lying on a lounger on the beach, head along the mountain roads and down to Sonnleitn. Do you know anything about mountain boarding or river tubing?

• Stanley Rider

  The Stanley Rider - a lightning fast sports vehicle with one front wheel and two rear wheels promises a completely new kind of downhill experience for budding daredevils. This pavement sled has disc brakes and is steered using your feet. Scoot off down the mountain just a few centimetres above the ground.

• Mountain board

  A helmet, a board, a brake and four wheels - that is all you need to mountain board across tarmac and uneven ground. A snowboard feeling for the summer. Suitable for all skaters and snowboarders who want to try out something different.

• BMX / MTB dirt park

  Calling all BMX and mountain bikers! The dirt park directly next to the NTC in Tröpolach is now up and running. The park has jumps and ramps and is the perfect setting for all bikers, whether beginner, professional, BMX or mountain bikers. The large ramp for professional dirt jumpers is now complete.

• Water sports

  Try your hand at river tubing – plunge down the Gail river equipped with a wetsuit, life jacket and helmet. Anyone who can't stand the heat of the numerous sporting activities of Blue Day can cool down with some river tubing fun.

• Euro bungy trampoline

  Ready to take the jump of your life? Jump high in the air and perform mid-air loops - a spectacular experience for all ages. The new innovation in trend sports will give you a feeling of weightlessness on the terrace of the Cube Hotel.

• Spooler

  Not for the faint-hearted! The Spooler is an inflatable ball that you climb into and roll down a hill in at increasing speed. A safe course and help from the NTC Blue Day Team will make sure that you survive this 'tumble' in one piece. You can get this adrenaline kick both in the summer and the winter – the NTC team will arrange the site accordingly!
