Scerne di Pineto – A view from the highest peak in Italy

A trip to the highest mountain in Italy is worthwhile. A stunning panoramic view awaits us on Gran Sasso. We can immerse ourselves in the past with a visit to the archaeological museums in Campli (40 km) and Chieti (50 km). We can see the relocated otters during a visit to the Lago di Penne 40 km away. We can take a journey into the middle ages in May and August at Quintana di Ascoli Piceno, a costume and knight festival.
