Renovations
Damnoni given a new look
26.03.2009 / Following intensive renovation work this winter, the resort in Damnoni again opened its doors to members on 14 March 2009. The famous Greek architect Vangelis Stylianidis has created a Greek atmosphere in the resort.
As soon as you turn into the resort, you can feel its special flair. The resort entrance with surroundings, the main building with restaurant bars, supermarket, reception area and children's room have been given a completely new look.
Renovation completed
With this last renovation phase in winter 2008/2009, Hapimag successfully completed the conversion work in Damnoni (GR). Hapimag renovated the 16-year-old resort in Damnoni in four phases.
Architecture by V. Stylianidis
Architect Vangelis Stylianidis took his inspiration from a destroyed village from the time of the Venetians and from the Aegean Sea. With this special architecture by Stylianidis, two worlds come together. This is apparent in the driveway and the entrance area.
Interior also renovated
The lobby and reception are now brighter, friendlier and more spacious – an ideal setting for welcoming guests. Also the children's room, two shops and the supermarket have been renovated. An exceptional new playground will waken the interest and playfulness of young and old alike.
Equipped for the summer season
With this fourth phase, all the construction work is now completed. Just in time for the summer season, guests can now enjoy the freshly renovated resort and the dreamlike view over the sea from the large terrace. The air-conditioned rooms will ensure cool heads and relaxing nights in the hot environment.
Internet and TV reception improved
To make members' stays at Damnoni even more comfortable, Hapimag has also improved Internet access and TV reception. Still to come is the additional creation of the photovoltaic system on the roof of the main building. The system, subsidised by the government in Greece, will produce electricity for the resort's own consumption as well as for the local power network.
