Renovation of the Hapimag residence in Marbella
31.01.12 / The renovation work in Marbella is running on schedule. The construction workers are at present still carrying out the demolition. In addition, the preliminary installation of the building technology is in progress, and the inner courtyard and terrace are being insulated. Construction work is also being carried out. Owing to the conversion, the pool is currently out of use. It is planned to open the pool again to the members at the end of April 2012.As soon as the construction work of the first phase is completed, a provisional reception will be set up so that this part of the ground floor can also be renovated. In addition to the ongoing renovation work, the project team has decided to lay new pipes to the bathrooms in all apartments. This will be done in stages.
21.11.2011 / In order to ensure that the infrastructure meets the members' expectations, the entire public area on the ground floor of the residence is being converted and newly designed. The renovation work started on 7 November 2011. The work is scheduled for completion by June 2012.
During the renovation, the residence will remain open. However, the Restaurant and supermarket will be closed during the whole renovation period. In addition, from the beginning of December 2011 to the end of April 2012 the swimming pool, lounger zones and various public areas will not be accessible. As an alternative to the closed pool, Hapimag will provide guests with access to the neighbouring leisure centre.
Despite the conversion work, the reception will be open, and, thanks to the excellent location and mild temperatures, stays will be possible.
Benefit from the unique location
In addition to the work on the ground floor, the solar power system on the roof will also be replaced. In future it will produce more power. Furthermore, damaged parts of the exterior rendering and cracks in the façade will be repaired.
Hapimag members can look forward to a completely redesigned ground floor: thanks to the new position of the restaurant, guests will be able to benefit fully from the unique location by the sea. A cafeteria will be integrated into the mini-market and a fitness room will be created beside the new sauna.
