Pentolina – Discover Tuscany
We treat ourselves to a generous breakfast and walk along idyllic nature paths through the forest. We climb the town hall tower in Siena and enjoy the view over the city. The Piazza del Campo is directly in front of us. The famous Palio horse race takes place here in the summer. We also won't want to miss Siena cathedral with its black and white striped facade. We marvel at the midnight blue ceiling fresco inside and the floor with its ornate marble mosaics. We wander through the lanes and indulge in a piece of Panforte – a typical sweet delicacy from Siena. We learn about how the region's typical wines, for example Chianti or Brunello di Montalcino, are made with a wine tasting and enjoy a delicious evening meal in the La piccola Toscana restaurant at our address.
