Paguera – A varied programme

It is worthwhile seeing the over 1000 metre high summit of the Serra de Tramuntana, the waterfalls in the La Reserva nature park, the big underground lakes in the Porto Cristo Dragon Caves, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró foundation in Cala Mayor and of course the various amusement parks such as water parks, marine aquariums or the fantasy world in the House of Kathmandu.

  • Excursions

During a city tour in Palma de Mallorca our view is directed to the little characteristics. The nostalgic train ride on the "red bullet" to Soller (30 km) or the farmers' museum "La Granja" in Esporles (25 km) with its displays on Wednesday and Friday afternoon are great fun for both young and old. Visit the lively weekly markets at Andraitx (7 km), Sineu and Inca (50 km).
  • Attractions

Explore the protected islands of Dragonera (10 km and boat) or Cabrera (50 km and boat) with a small castle, impressive countryside and an overwhelming underwater world.

    • "Bellver" Castle in Palma
    • Royal Palace - "l'Almudaina"
    • Former manor - "Raixa" (30 km)
    • Roman ruins in Alcudia (80 km).
  • Museums

    • Museums fans will find interest in the Pilar i Joan Miró foundation in Cala Mayor (20 km),
    • The Es Baluard Museum for contemporary and modern art in Palma (25 km) and the wax museum at Inca (55 km).
    • Colección March (Fundación Joan March) and Fundación Bartolomé March in Palma (25 km)
    • Can Prunera in Soller (35 km)
    • There is church art in the cathedral in Palma, the Carthusian cloister of Valldemossa (40 km) and the Cloister of Lluc (65 km).
  • Nature

Whether on land or water, there are lots of excursion options. At the "La Reserva" nature park in Puigpunyent (20 km), landscaped waterfalls create a beautiful spectacle. The natural beach "Es Trenc" (65 km) is an undeveloped haven. View the coastline from the sea on various boat and catamaran trips (500 m from the resort). There are three waymarked walking routes through the publicly-owned Finca Galatzo (near Capdella, approx. 5 km away), offering unique opportunities for photographing the Majorcan landscape. The almond blossom is a special highlight every year.
  • Culinary activities

What would a Spanish holiday be without paella? Inconceivable! In the resort's own restaurant "Tentacion", the tapas, BBQ and fish evening enjoy huge popularity. The menu offers both international and Mediterranean dishes. The wide-ranging menu also includes Majorcan specialities such as "Pa amb oli", regional eco wines and the "Gato" cakes. A diverse culinary offer ranging from rated restaurants to the typical Majorcan bar is available nearby.
