Hapimag: New city residences in Dresden and Lisbon

12.08.2010 / Hapimag, the leader in the European market for timeshare rights of residence, posted a significant improvement in its sales results on the Swiss market in the first half of the year. Total sales revenue remained practically unchanged at EUR 80.4 million (2009: EUR 81.9 million). In a difficult environment, the occupancy rate for all resorts dropped slightly to 68% compared to the previous year (71%). The effect of this development was that operating profits for the first six months were EUR -0.7 million (against EUR 2.2 million in 2009). The portfolio of resorts is set to be expanded with new addresses in Dresden (D), Lisbon (PT) and on the Ligurian coast (IT).

Dresden city residence – Façade is complete

12.08.2010 / The scaffolding on the city residence in Dresden has been removed. The façade, which is true to the original, can now be seen by all. It is richly decorated with pilasters and column capitals made of sandstone. 51 parts of the façade recovered from the building destroyed in 1945 were used for these. They can be identified up close by their slightly coarser structure. The missing parts were made based on the pieces recovered and photographs.

New concept for Hapimag Unterkirnach resort

09.08.2010 / The German subsidiary of Swiss-based Hapimag AG and the "Caritasverband für den Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis e.V." charitable organisation have reached an agreement to jointly operate the Hapimag resort in Unterkirnach in the future. Hapimag will now only be responsible for running the hotel and Caritas will be responsible for the catering operations. A provisional agreement for this cooperation venture has been signed.

Star Clipper sailed off the Croatian coast

09.08.2010 / The sailing ship cruised around the Adriatic coast for a week, visiting three countries in the process. The almost 140 passengers on board experienced an eventful and unforgettable tour.

Hapimag plans new city residence in Lisbon

28.07.2010 / Hapimag has purchased a plot of land in Lisbon very close to the central pedestrian zone. It is located in a street running parallel to the elegant Avenida de Liberdade, Lisbon's version of the Champs-Elysées.

The 'Breizh' is open

27.07.2010 / Resort Manager Norbert Lang and his team opened the new Breizh restaurant on Saturday. In perfect weather they received the first guests on the dunes. The restaurant was created on the dunes within just four months. The staff are now looking forward to treating the guests to Breton and Sylt delicacies.

Renovations at various Hapimag addresses

08.07.2010 / In order to continue to guarantee the usual Hapimag standards, in addition to the two large-scale renovation projects in Amsterdam and Paris, the company has also thoroughly renovated other resorts and residences. Whereas the renovation work at Berlin Zoo, Pentolina (Phase 1) and Tonda is already completed, Saalbach will remain closed until the planned reopening on 31 July 2010.
