Profit and sustainability? - Timesharing provides the best preconditions

20.10.2011 / This was the subject of the presentation by Kurt Scholl, CEO Hapimag, at the 15th Tourism Summit on 17 and 18 October 2011 in Berlin to over 500 participants and prominent speakers such as the Vice-President of the European Commission Viviane Reding, German Foreign Minister Dr. Guido Westerwelle and the Chairman of the SPD Bundestag fraction Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The Tourism Summit concentrated on, among other things, current questions regarding the development of tourism in threshold and developing countries, the reactions of the sector to climate and natural catastrophes, developments in air transport and in event business, and the sustainable and profit-oriented use of holiday properties.

Together with representatives of the European timeshare organisation RDO (Resort Development Organisation) and the world's largest timeshare exchange (RCI), Kurt Scholl also used the summit to discuss problems of public perception and the reputation of the timeshare sector in Germany with press representatives.
