Houseboats in Germany – Peaceful discovery

During a hike, we listen with interest to the stories told by the national park ranger, who describes the many rare birds and plants. In Malchow we can visit the monastery church, whose lean brick spire in the neo-Gothic style is visible from afar. Time and again, we appreciate the peace of the lakes during our travels. We stop in the idyllic little town of Plau am See and look forward to a freshly prepared fish meal. On a walk along the promenade, we stretch our legs and admire the lift bridge and historic sluice on the Elde river. On Schwerin Lake, we can practice windsurfing or just relax and go fishing, hoping to land a large fish for dinner.
