We would like to relax and comfortably enjoy nature. We are looking for a place with exciting hiking routes, amazing winter sport opportunities along with the benefits of good cuisine. Our address in Merano is just such a place. Our two buildings, one dating back to the turn of the century, are located in a well-kept park in the exclusive Obermais quarter.

The unique countryside and cultural diversity of South Tyrol await you at our address in Merano. Discover Mediterranean plants and barren mountain ridges on different hiking trails. Here you will find space for relaxation.

Go walking on mountain paths, hiking paths and pilgrims' routes during your holiday or follow the so-called "irrigation roads", gently sloping roads that run alongside old irrigation channels and past vineyards and forests. Visit Trauttmansdorff Palace, the former residence of the Austrian Empress Elisabeth and admire the vast botanical garden that encircles the castle. Sissi-Weg leads from the city centre directly to the castle gardens. Take a trip to Lake Kaltern during the summer or carve elegant patterns in the snow on the slopes of the nearby ski pistes in winter. Shopping enthusiasts will find an array of exclusive boutiques, delicatessen shops and restaurants. Taste South Tyrol specialities such as farmhouse bacon and different varieties of sweet and savoury dumpling.

Wellness in South Tyrol

The Merano residence features 36 holiday apartments and is situated in the exclusive residential district of Obermais. The park-sized gardens are ideal for relaxation, as are the spacious wellness facilities in the region. The nearby treatment centre and the thermal spa with numerous outdoor and indoor pools, as well as a sauna area, are particularly popular since they promise pure relaxation.

Building 2 – the Morgenstern building – is currently being fully renovated and will remain closed during the renovation work. It is planned to make the refurbished apartments available again for members in September 2012. Building 1 can still be booked as usual.

Mobility
