Marbella – Discover Moorish Heritage
A day trip to Malaga (60 km) is definitely worth the effort. We visit the Picasso museum and the museum of modern art. The magnificent Alhambra citadel in Granada (200 km) is one of the most beautiful examples of the Moorish influence on Spanish architecture and is also worth a visit. The historic centre of Ronda (62 km) displays many Moorish characteristics and is located on a rock plateau steeply sloping on all sides and separated from the modern area of the city by a 100 m deep gorge spanned by three bridges.
