La Madrague – Discover artistic strongholds
The medieval village of La Cadière (8 km) and the winding alleyways of the artists' colony of Le Castellet (10 km) are well worth a visit. We visit the Notre-Dame de la Garde and the old port in Marseille (40 km), a city well-known for its cultural diversity. The magic of the Provence countryside has attracted many a painter in centuries past. Starting from the former studio of Cézanne, we embark on a city tour or an excursion through the life and countryside of the Aix painter. We visit the picturesque market of Sanary-sur-Mer (15 km) and admire the bright colours of the herbs and delicatessen from Provence.
