Chamonix – Active through the summer and winter

Any one of the many ski resorts is the perfect choice for a family excursion in the winter. Alternatively we maintain our fitness levels with a cross-country skiing trip between Chamonix and Les Bois, for example. Or we enjoy the silence of snowy fir forests during a snowshoe walk. There is a skating rink and an indoor hall with an indoor pool, tennis and squash courts. In addition to adventurous summer activities such as canyoning or paragliding, we have the possibility of enjoying the mountain scenery on long walks. Mountain bikers also get their money's worth in Chamonix.

• Sport

  Climbing Mont Blanc is a special challenge. For this you will have to be in good shape and will need to stay at least two weeks. Other possibilities:

• Golf

  There are two 18-hole golf courses available: one is directly in Chamonix (2 km), the other 35 km away. You receive a discount in Chamonix with the guest card. Tee-off times can only be booked shortly beforehand at Golf du Mont d'Arbois.

  Boccia, water polo, darts, table football, billiards, badminton and bowling (4 km) will keep you entertained. You will soon find other players among the Hapimag members.

• Evening programme

  You an experience entertaining evening get-togethers at the Hapimag evenings, games and other entertainment, the dance hit parade, film screenings, speciality evenings in the restaurants or on one of the torchlight walks. In Chamonix there’s a cinema, disco and casino to keep you entertained. Theatre-lovers can also go to Annecy (100 km).
