" Transfer

A transfer to our residence is not required, but in order to avoid any inconvenience upon your arrival, we recommend that you book a transfer in advance through the staff at the city residence, whether you are arriving by plane, train or another form of transport.

From Ferihegy Airport: 
Airport minibus: We recommend you make a booking directly at the Hapimag city residence.
The standard price of EUR 13.-- per person (one way) can be paid at the city residence.
Taxi: can be reserved in writing directly at the Hapimag city residence. The standard price of EUR 26.-- is for a one-way trip in a standard vehicle and must be paid in the taxi. 

" Rail

Most international trains run to the East Station (Keleti pu) or South Station (Déli pu). The standard maximum price for a taxi from the railway station to the Hapimag city residence is approximately EUR 23.-- for a one-way trip in a standard vehicle. (Can be reserved in writing directly at the city residence.) 

» Car

From the north (Vienna):
Take the A4 motorway towards the border crossing at Nickelsdorf (AT) - Hegyeshalom (HU). Continue on the M1 (tolls payable) towards Budapest. In Budapest, the M1 opens out into Budaörsi út. First drive towards the city centre. You will see Hotel Wien on the right-hand side. You will pass a car dealership on the right-hand side. Keep right and drive towards "Erzsébet-híd". From here, you will see green signs marked "Centrum". At the overpass, keep right and stay in the right-hand lane. Do not take the overpass to "Centrum", but follow "Margit híd" (Margaret Bridge). You will pass underneath the overpass. You will see the shopping centre MOM Park on both sides.
Continue straight on Alkotás utca and past the South Station (Déli pu.). Stay in the right-hand lane. After the South Station, Alkotás utca leads into Krisztina körút. Continue on to Attila út and cross the street coming from the right. You are now on Vérmezö út and are driving on Castle hill. On the left-hand side, at the second intersecting street, you will see a Hapimag sign.

Turn right into this street (Várfok utca) and drive to Bécsi kapu tér (Vienna Gate). At the barrier, press the red button and take a ticket. Important: keep your ticket. Immediately after the barrier you will reach Evangélikus Templom Church. On the right at the corner, you will see the Hapimag city residence. Since this is a one-way street, turn right and continue straight on. At the second street (Országház utca), turn left and left again at the second intersecting street. Drive straight on until you are opposite the Pest-Buda Restaurant Turn left and continue for a short distance. The Hapimag city residence is on your left. You may stop briefly in front of the city residence.

• If you drive to Budapest in your own car, the castle district has the following parking availability:
  Supervised car park at the Hilton Hotel (approximately 200 m away), on request in the Hapimag city residence. Public car parks are not supervised.
• Local currency HUF. Please note that EUR are not accepted everywhere. You should change your money at a bank only.
• In the Hapimag city residence, EC cards, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, JBC and EUR are accepted as means of payment.
• You can request the current programme of culture and events in the city residence. For ticket reservations please contact the reception in advance. The same applies for drinks and breakfast order lists for the first day.
• The wellness area in the city residence (sauna, whirlpool and relaxation room) is open for use 24/7.
• Owing to listed-building regulations, the resort does not have air-conditioning. However, fans can be borrowed from the reception.
