» Ferries
We recommend Marmara Lines, which runs regular services from Ancona (IT) to Cesme (TR) and from Brindisi (IT) to Cesme (TR). (April – October).
- At the airport there are often pushy baggage carriers demanding disproportionately high prices. We wish to point out that Hapimag does not employ any baggage carriers.
- Entry documents: Citizens of the UK, Holland, Austria, Spain, the USA and others require a visa, which can be obtained at the border. You must be able to show the entry stamp on your passport when you leave the country.
- Please note that road conditions and traffic behaviour is not up to European standards.
- The exchange rate in Turkey is considerably more favourable. Please enquire at your bank. At the Hapimag Sea Garden resort you will be given your own credit card which is valid in the Village Shop, at all restaurants and bars, and for sporting activities. Imported goods, in particular European foods, are very expensive in Turkey.
- EC cards, Eurocard, Visa, Diners Club and American Express cards are accepted as a means of payment. With your EC card you can also withdraw money (Turkish Lira) at cash machines on Mini Bodrum street.
- The Turkish authorities are of the opinion that the number of legally permissible kitchens in the Village apartments in our address Sea Garden, Bodrum was exceeded. In order not to compromise the operation of the address, Hapimag has decided to provisionally close the kitchens in approx. 20% of our apartments. Thus this gives rise to a new type of apartment called the "Village Room". The "Village Rooms" have the following furnishings and fittings: In the living rooms, the seating areas have been replaced with beds. There is still a dining table, fridge and coffee machine.
- The Knidos Fitness and Health Center offers an additional wellness programme (for a charge) with Turkish baths, massages, facials and beauty treatments, whirlpool, sauna and relaxation pools (8.2 m x 4.2 m x 1.45 m).
- During the winter months you have access to an indoor pool (15 m x 7 m x 1.45 m).
- The winter season in Bodrum is ideally suited to hiking (do not forget your hiking boots).
- Winter guests: Due to maintenance work, as well as for economic reasons, the infrastructure offered in winter is limited.
- We recommend that you check your insurance cover before travelling.
