A hearty meal awaits us at the end of the day. We enjoy a wide variety of fresh Baltic Sea fish specialities in the evening and round off the meal with a sea-buckthorn liqueur. The idyllic villages nearby are also worth a visit for culinary motives. We taste some regional delicacies in the quaint taverns of Seedorf, Moritzdorf or Alt Reddevitz.
Museum visits are also on the agenda. We experience nature of a special kind at the National Park Centre near the famous Königsstuhl chalk cliffs. The German Oceanography Museum in Stralsund (45 km) is also well worth a visit. After gaining an insight into a fascinating underwater world, we stroll through the carefully restored historic centre of the Hanseatic city dotted with listed buildings.-
