Getting there from Tegel Airport:
Number 128 bus to Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Take underground train no. 6 (towards Alt-Mariendorf) and get off at Stadtmitte. Leave the station via the exit for Gendarmenmarkt and turn right into Kronenstrasse, about 400 metres.
By taxi from airport approx. 13 km.

Please note that flights to Berlin Tegel Airport will stop with effect from 3 June 2012. Flights will then go to the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Since the opening of the new airport has not yet been specified, there is still no information on how to get there.. 

Getting there from Schönefeld Airport:
RE Flughafen Express to Friedrichstrasse railway station. Take underground train no. 6 (towards Alt-Mariendorf) and get off at Stadtmitte. Leave the station via the exit for Gendarmenmarkt and turn right into Kronenstrasse, about 400 metres.
By taxi from airport approx. 25 km. 

» Car

From the north (Hamburg, Rostock):
From the Havelland motorway interchange take the A10 towards Frankfurt Oder/Prenzlau/Berlin-Zentrum as far as exit 35, Dreieck Pankow. Get into the lane for the A114 heading towards Berlin-Zentrum/Berlin-Pankow. Continue on the B109 (signposted B109/Prenzlauer Berg) and Prenzlauer Allee. Turn left at Mollstrasse, then turn right at B2/Otto-Braun-Strasse and continue on the B2. Join the B1/Grunerstrasse, continue on the B1 and then turn right at Markgrafenstrasse and then right again at Kronenstrasse.

From the south (Leipzig, Nuremberg, Magdeburg):
Follow the signs to Berlin-Zentrum/Berlin-Zehlendorf and continue as far as the exit onto the A100. On the A100 continue to junction 20, Tempelhofer Damm, for the B96. At B96 Tempelhofer Damm turn left and continue on the B96. Continue along Wilhelmstrasse, turn right at Kochstrasse, then left at Friedrichstrasse and right at Kronenstrasse.

Please note: If you are travelling in your own car, a parking space must be reserved at the city residence in advance. 

» Rail

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof:
By taxi distance to Hapimag city residence approx. 4 km.
By S-Bahn (suburban rail) to Friedrichstrasse station. Take underground train no. 6 (towards Alt-Mariendorf) and get off at Stadtmitte. Leave the station via the exit for Gendarmenmarkt and turn right into Kronenstrasse, about 400 metres.

From Zoologischer Garten station:
By taxi distance to Hapimag city residence approx. 5 km.
Take underground train no. 2 (towards Pankow) and get off at Stadtmitte. Leave the station via the exit for Gendarmenmarkt, go straight on as far as Markgrafenstrasse, turn right into Markgrafenstrasse and then take the next street on the right, Kronenstrasse, about 400 metres.

Permanent pollution-free zones are currently being designated in many towns and cities throughout Germany. It is only permitted to drive through these pollution-free zones with an appropriate emissions disc. This also applies to foreign vehicles.
