Bad Kleinkirchheim – Mountains and lake

We play table tennis at our address or try our hand at mountaineering or climbing. Alternatively, we scale the peaks on a mountain bike. Lake Millstatt located nearby (6 km) offers a wide selection of water sports.

  • Facilities

    You can play tennis on clay courts at the various hotels or in the indoor tennis hall in the village. If you haven’t got your racquet, or if you require a few lessons first, both are available.

    • Water aerobics, aqua-walking and hydropower in the thermal baths

    • Rafting/ canyoning (35 km), paragliding and hang-gliding (30 km) 
    • Water sports (6 km): swimming, diving, windsurfing, wakeboarding 
    • Ski area with more than 30 lifts and approx. 100 km of pistes (0.5 km) 
    • Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing (approx. 10 km of prepared trails)

  • Golf

    Golfers are not short-changed here either. There are three 18-hole golf courses within a radius of 40 km and another four within a radius of 41 to 50 km. Golf lessons for all playing levels can be booked at the residence.

    The residence caters for children, with swings, a sandpit, a children's games corner and a young people's room. All types of games and sports equipment can be hired in the village, which also has a public play area, day-care centre and children’s crèche.
