Bad Gastein – Golf, nature and history
We play a spot of early morning golf. We tee off from the course right next to our address. We skilfully drive balls onto the greens of the 18-hole golf course at Gastein Golf Club. In the afternoon, we immerse ourselves in the fascinating mountain scenery and discover flora and fauna along the bird nature trail or national park nature trail. Or we take a short journey back in time through the Gastein valley and visit the castle ruins of Klammstein, the Gastein museum or the "Entrische Kirche" (limestone cave) church - a unique cavern at the entrance to the valley that offered Lutheran followers protection during the Reformation.
