From Eleftherios Venizelos Airport (around 33 km from the Hapimag city residence) 

» Taxi

We recommend that you arrive by taxi. If you book in advance with the city residence, transfer costs are around EUR 50.- for a one-way journey. Payment must be made directly to the taxi driver. 

» Bus

Take bus X95 (24-hour service) to its final destination, Syntagma Square. From there walk around 300 m to Peta Street/Tsatsou Street (south of Syntagma Square). 

» Underground

From the airport take the metro (operates between 06.00 and 20.00) to Syntagma station. (The end destination of the line is Egaleo.)
You can go to Syntagma Square by bus or metro. From here walk along Filellinon Street past three sets of traffic lights and take the fifth (last) side street on the right, Tsatsou Street (formally Peta Street). The Hapimag city residence is located on the right-hand side at the end of the street (on the corner of Tsatsou Street and Monis Asteriou Street).

If you are arriving by bus or metro, we recommend that you get a map of the city from the tourist office at the airport. 

» Hire car from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport

Take the Attikis motorway towards Athens/Elefsina to exit 14/15, "Leoforos Mesogion“/"Leoforos Marathonas", and then turn left towards Athens. Around 4 km after the exit you will reach the suburb of Agia Paraskevi. Travel around 10 km along Mesogeion Street towards "Centrum” and "Syntagma”. You now enter Vasilissis Sofias Street. Drive past the Hilton (on the left), turn slightly to the right and continue to Syntagma Square. When you reach Syntagma Square, continue straight on (past the parliament building on the left and Hotel Grande Bretagne on the right). At the bottom of the square turn left into Filellinon Street. Continue for around 300 m, passing three sets of traffic lights, and take the fifth (last) side street on the right, Tsatsou Street (formerly Peta Street). The city residence is situated on the right-hand side at the end of this street (on the corner of Tsatsou Street and Monis Asteriou Street). 

» Ferry to Patras

From Patras take the main road to Athens. Once you reach the outskirts of Athens follow the signs for "Centrum“/"Athens”. You will pass through 3 squares: Karaiskaki, Omonia and Syntagma. At Karaiskaki Square turn right along Deligorgi Street (not signposted!), continue to the end of the street and turn left into Piraeos Street. Drive on until you reach Omonia Square and continue straight on along Stadiou Street until you reach Syntagma Square. After reaching Syntagma Square drive straight on towards Piraeus/Sounion. You are now on Fillelinon Street, around 300 m from the Hapimag city residence. Drive past three sets of traffic lights and take the fifth (last) side street on the right, Tsatsou Street (formerly Peta Street). The city residence is situated on the right-hand side at the end of this street (on the corner of Tsatsou Street and Monis Asteriou Street). 

» From Porto Heli

From Porto Heli drive via Corinth to Athens on the provincial/main road. Once you arrive at the outskirts of Athens proceed as described in the section on getting there by ferry. 

» Rail

From Larissis main train station take the metro to Syntagma station, which is around 300 m from the Hapimag city residence. Then proceed as described in the section for getting there by metro.
