Antibes – Exquisite cuisine and sophisticated atmosphere
After a hearty breakfast with freshly baked croissants and café au lait, we experience an unforgettable day along the Côte d'Azur. We join an organised guided city tour and discover the historic centre, buy fresh Provençal fruit and vegetables, tangy sheep's or goat's cheese at weekly markets. We browse around quaint boutiques in narrow alleyways or just sit in a café in the Place Nationale and watch the world go by. In the afternoon we lay in the sun, bathe our tired feet in the azure waters of the Mediterranean or try our hand at windsurfing. We then head back to the apartment and freshen up before paying a visit to the glamorous town of Juan-Les-Pins. We stroll past stately villas and luxurious hotels, pick out an elegant restaurant and indulge in the delights of French haute cuisine. The next day we pay a visit to the grand casino of Monte Carlo, dream of fulfilling our desire of owning a yacht while sitting at the roulette table and watch spellbound as the ball spins around the wheel. Whether we win or lose, we will still want to dive headlong into the extravagant nightlife of the Côte d’Azur.
