Amsterdam

Art and canals

Free spirits can only feel at home in a place with cosmopolitan and multicultural characteristics. We are looking for a place that combines both of these qualities and has a history that bears witness to a liberal lifestyle. Our address in Amsterdam is just such a place.

Hapimag City residence Amsterdam

At our address in Amsterdam, you can experience art, canals and a joy of life of the creative kind. Formerly the largest trading city in the world, Amsterdam looks back on an impressive past and is characterised by openness, tolerance and cultural diversity.

Gain your first impressions of this city on a boat trip through the canals. Stroll around the most diverse district of the city – the artists' district of Jordaan – and discover small, unusual shops. The best way to explore Amsterdam is by bicycle. Cycle along the canals past the many houseboats and discover the cultural city highlights during your holiday. World famous museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum will appeal to avid art lovers. Meet your favourite celebrities at Madame Tussauds, even though they are only made of wax! Enjoy the wonders of nature right in the centre of the Amsterdam. In the Vondelpark, a whole host of activities are possible, such as jogging, skating, walking or simply lazing on the grass under the shade of a tree. Alternatively, visit one of the popular open-air theatres and concerts.

Ideal location for your city break

The Amsterdam city residence consists of two buildings constructed in the 17th century that are located directly by the Singel, the oldest canal in Amsterdam. Each of the 26 holiday apartments is dedicated to a Dutch painter. The central location makes the city residence the ideal starting point for your activities in the city.

We regret that Hapimag cannot offer private parking spaces at the resort. There is a public car park only three minutes' walk away, which can be used for a charge. The public car parking facilities in the city area are also subject to a fee. Cheaper parking availability (Park & Ride) is located outside the city centre (approx. 6 km away).
