Amsterdam – Experience all its facets
We visit the Rembrandt House Museum and travel back in time to the Dutch Golden Age of the 17th century. Impressed by the pictures of the famous artist, we cross over old curved bridges across the canals to arrive at the delightful Rijksmuseum in Museumplein where artistic treasures from the Golden Age and artefacts from Dutch history await us. After such a large dose of art, we definitely need a change of scenery and so we sit in the Blauwe Teehuis in the nearby Vondelpark. It won't be long before we get chatting ardently with the locals. Armed with tips for the evening, we then head back to the resort via Negen Straatjes where unusual boutiques offer a selection of curiosities ranging from antiques to fashionable artefacts. In the evening, we try out one of the countless trendy bars, restaurants and clubs around the Leidseplein that attract people from all over the world.

Discover your surroundings on land or water
A boat trip along the canals of Amsterdam is always a special experience. We can book directly at the reception of our address. In the city of bicycles, we can also pedal on water. A trip on a pedalo is a worthwhile alternative to a traditional city tour. We embark on an excursion to the town of Edam-Volendam approximately 25 km away, visit the picturesque town centre in the Edam district and experience typical Dutch tradition in Volendam. We cross over to Marken from the charming harbour. This small peninsula in the Zuidersee is a popular destination and has inspired many painters.
